Due to MSBR Board office in August of each year. Anyone can nominate themselves or others for these awards.

Business Conduct &Practices: how you have helped REALTORS and the Association
Rookie REALTOR of the Year: This award recognizes a REALTOR® who has been in the business four years or less, has demonstrated excellence in knowledge, work production, civic activity and service to their local, state and or national association. (Based on entire career, not just this past year)
Education (25%) Credit given for seminars, Lunch & Learns courses toward designations, any professional education courses that improve ability and expertise.
Productivity (20%) 1% per settled transaction side up to a maximum of 20%
(Based on the number of transactions and not volume in the past 12 months from submission date, i.e. 1 transaction =1%, 10 transactions=10%, 20 transactions=20%, 25 transactions=20%)
Participation in Local Board/Association, State (MAR), National (NAR) Activities (20%) Participation includes attendance at conferences, conventions, on committees, and other activities. (Based on whole career, in chronological order.)
Community Service, Charitable, and Civic Activity (10%) Involvement, membership, or leadership roles in any community service, charitable, and civic organizations.
Community Service Award
Community Service Award honors an individual REALTOR® member who gives unselfishly of their time to assist the communities in which they live. Mid-Shore uses the Maryland Good Neighbor award form for submitting this award.
REALTOR of the Year
Recognizes the service a REALTOR has given to the industry, their association and the community.

IDEA: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility award celebrates the incredible work of our REALTOR® community to drive improved culture within the workplace as well as in the communities we serve. This award is designed to recognize those who have made significant steps towards creating a more diverse and inclusive community through the implementation of initiatives and/or programs reflective of Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS.
Eligibility: Based on the following criteria but does not have to meet each of these criteria.
§ Demonstrates emerging or sustaining commitment to the values of IDEA by documented efforts that are above and beyond routine expectations.
§ Exhibits exceptional efforts to promote a working environment that is free from bias and discrimination.
§ Raises and deepens awareness of equity, inclusion, and diversity issues.
§ Recruits and retains an excellent, diverse pool of members for volunteer positions.
§ Makes outstanding contribution(s) to communities in furtherance of IDEA mission through education and outreach.
§ Nomination Letter provides a detailed overview of the work performed and an explanation of how the work exemplifies inclusive excellence.
§ Minimum of one letter of support that addresses the award criteria. Supporting documentation highlighting the exceptional achievement(s) that align with the award’s criteria.
LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This award recognizes extraordinary contributions to the real estate profession and to the REALTOR® organization. Our intention is that recipients will be universally acknowledged among our members as exemplary practitioners in the real estate and business communities.
At least 25 years of active full-time service in real estate (any capacity).
Still active in the real estate profession.
Demonstrated throughout his/her career extraordinary and outstanding leadership and contributions to the real estate profession, and to the REALTOR® organization at the state and local level. Widely acknowledged by professional colleagues for the highest level of professional competence and personal and professional ethics and general reputation.
Outstanding contributions to the business community, generating recognition, respect and enhanced regard for the real estate profession among business and civic leaders.
